KYC Policies

General Provisions
Jokabet adheres to the Know Your Customer (KYC) principles, which are aimed at combating financial crime and money laundering. We are obliged to verify the identity of our users and ensure the security of all transactions.
At any time, we may request documents to prove your identity and residence. Until the details are verified, access to certain features, including withdrawals, may be restricted.
Verification and KYC Levels
We take a phased approach to customer verification. Depending on the level of risk and activity, one of the following types of verification is applied:
- Simplified Due Diligence (SDD) — applied to transactions with minimal risk;
- Customer Due Diligence (CDD) — used in most cases and includes standard identification;
- Extended Due Diligence (EDD) — applies to large transactions or higher risk.
What Documents may be Required
We may request certain documents in order to pass an identity check. The list depends on the level of verification and includes both mandatory data and additional confirmations.
Basic Data Set
This is the basic information that must be provided during identification. This data is required to confirm your identity and age.
- Full name;
- Date of birth;
- Address of permanent residence;
- Identification number.
Proof of Identity and Address
These documents help us to make sure that the information you provide is true. They are also required to meet legal requirements.
- Passport or ID card;
- Proof of address (e.g. utility receipt or bank statement not older than 6 months).
Additional Documents
Sometimes it may be necessary to submit additional files. This is especially important for more thorough verification or if you suspect a data discrepancy.
- Additional document (driver’s license, military ID, etc.);
- Photos of a user with an open passport against the background of his face;
- Photo of the bank card (the first 6 and last 4 digits, owner’s name and expiration date are visible).
Reasons for Rejection of Documents
Documents may be rejected if:
- Name or address does not match the information in the account;
- Documents are unreadable or damaged;
- Inappropriate files are sent (e.g., an envelope instead of a utility bill);
- Documents do not verify age or identity;
- Other doubts are raised by company staff.
Verification Process and Status
Temporary Validation
After uploading the documents, the user will get the status of “Temporary Confirmation”. Within 24 hours, KYC team will verify the documents and send the result:
- Approved — documents accepted;
- Rejected — verification failed;
- Need additional data — clarifying information, status does not change.
Limitations
With the status “Temporary Approval” you can use the site, but withdrawal of funds will not be available until the end of full verification.
If the documents are not approved, we will inform you about the reason and a support request will be created in the system with the reference number. In this case deposit and withdrawal of funds will be blocked.
Final Verification
If KYC is successful, an additional activity and balance check is performed before withdrawal to ensure that the funds have been received in a fair manner.
Other Rules
As part of KYC policy compliance, there are additional restrictions:
- Transferring funds between users is strictly prohibited;
- Verification may include video proof and additional documents;
- We may call the number listed on your account as part of the verification process.
